Kansas City not only boasts a gorgeous downtown skyline, amazing food, and a small town feeling, but it is also home to some of the most incredible wedding professionals out there. I was simply honored to be invited to participate and to photograph 28 Event Space’s annual open house. 28 Event Space, located at 1300 W 28 St in downtown Kansas City, Missouri, is a wedding venue with the perfect mix of classic and urban. The stunning skyline mural adds a unique artistry to the space while the exposed ceiling, sweeping skylights, and twinkling lights add romance to the converted space. Kate and Alex’s wedding there was simply amazing.
Ashley from Good Earth Floral Design Studio decorated the space with golden lanterns, gold etched vases, and soft pink and purple flowers. Iced Art brought amazing cakes (seriously the Guava was so delicious!), Brancato’s Catering served up yummy pasta and brochette, and Top Shelf Bar tending topped it all off. To complete the event 95.7 the Mixx kept the house rocking and there were special aerial performances from Lucia Performing Art School (what a fun idea to entertain wedding guests during dinner). Enjoy!
