Alisha and Wes just wanted a party for their New Year’s Eve Wedding in Kirksville, Missouri. A party celebrating the holiday that marks the end of a year and the start of something new and celebrating the union of one very special couple. That is exactly what they got.
We woke up that morning to a severe weather warning and a few extra inches of snow. After a very sweet and slightly chilly first look on the campus of Truman State University, we tromped through the snow for some gorgeous winter formals. Alisha’s son, Max, was waiting at the church for his “daddy Wesee” to help him get into his own tuxedo and to be the barer of the rings that would seal the union. After a very heartfelt and sincere ceremony, the celebrations began and the party lasted straight through the ball drop at midnight. It was such a pleasure to be able to photograph a couples first kiss on their first New Year’s as husband and wife. Enjoy!
