Anna & Don at Pilgrim Chapel & Van Noy Mansion {Timeless Wedding Photography | Kansas City}

When I first met Anna I almost instantly noticed a sparkle in her eye.  After meeting Don the morning of their wedding, I can see why.  They spent the entire day surrounded by this feeling of comfortable happiness.  Despite the wedding plans and the anticipation of the day, they both seemed so relaxed and cool.  It was truly special to be in their company because the happiness just radiated outwards and you couldn’t help but feel as happy as they were.

Anna and Don started the day at the lovely and quaint Pilgrim Chapel in Kansas City, MO.  The chapel was built in 1947 and hasn’t lost a bit of its original charm.  The intimate ceremony was followed up by an amazing evening of laughing, dancing, and plenty of dipping at the Van Noy Mansion.  This historic mansion boasted sweeping views, gorgeous architecture, and just enough room of some serious celebrating! Enjoy!

From Anna:

Favorite Moment of the Day: Seeing Don smile when I walked down the aisle.
Inspiration for the wedding: Simple and elegant. We wanted to keep the focus on the main thing–two people who love each other coming together.
Advice to brides planning in the future: Do what you want. Everyone is going to have an opinion–it’s important to filter what matters vs. what doesn’t. At the end of the day do what makes you happy.
Anything else you really don’t want me to forget: Don dipped me about a million times lol:)
Special thanks to my amazing second photographer Jaime Russell!
