If there was ever a day full of heart, this was it. Brooke and BJ have this perfect way of being together that looks quiet but has a way of enveloping those around them in their love and their laughter. The day threatened rain and sprinkled right at the moment the ceremony was to begin. After clearing, and then coming back at least once, the rain stopped right in time for Brooke to walk down the aisle to her groom. It came back as soon as we we finished the family photos after the ceremony and we had to rush Brooke into the limo to keep her dry. We debated changing our photo location to something more sheltered but decided to just go with it and luckily the rain stopped just in time for us again. It was as though someone just kept turning it on and off at the perfect moments for these two. It was a gorgeous day made all the more perfect by these two. Enjoy!
Thoughts from our bride, Brooke:
Favorite Moment of the Day: Dancing to One Direction, surrounded by all of our friends.
Inspiration for the wedding: The original inspiration was Kansas nature. The gold because of wheat fields and the pale blue because of the sky with lots of branches and leaves as accents.
Advice to brides planning in the future: Give yourself plenty of time because then it’s not as stressful! Also hire a great team to help you along the way.
A huge thank you to my second photographer, Mike Tsai.
