Caitlyn and Josh {Kansas City Wedding Photography}

This is an epic post.  I normally have a bit more restraint when choosing images from the wedding day to tell the story, but what do you do when the story is just well…epic.  Caitlyn started her morning getting ready at the stunning Raphael Hotel on the Plaza.  I loved all of the special details that she incorporated into the day.  Cute yellow wraps for her bridesmaids to get dressed in.  Grey and white handmade clutches for the girls to carry their lipstick and keys in.  Painted champagne glasses so no one missed a toast.  After the final dressing we braved the heat and headed out into the Rose Garden at Loose Park and Kauffman Gardens for some one on one time with Caitlyn and the girls (and we even witnessed the sweetest wedding proposal happening right before our eyes.  Of course I hid in the bushes and snapped a few pictures for them.  Congrats Jeff and Lonna!).  Meanwhile the wonderful Kyle Lackey of Focus Photography took off with the incredibly well dressed groomsmen and captured the guys down at Cool Crest Mini Golf.  The ceremony was at the lovely Wornall Road Baptist Church.  After some beautiful words and a perfect first kiss we all loaded up in the party bus to explore the 12th St. Bridge, then headed to the roof of Town Pavilion for a sweeping view of Kansas City and (as Josh called it) the Ghostbuster’s building.  The party moved inside with an amazing dinner, tons of beautiful friends and family celebrating the start of a marriage for two wonderful people, and of course a night of dancing their socks off (literally for quite a few of the guests).  Congratulations C&J and thank you for letting me be a part of such an epic day!
