Eileen & Dave {Grand Hall Kansas City Wedding Photography}

My favorite weddings are those where every detail is chosen specifically because it is special and personal to the couple.  Eileen and Dave didn’t take long to realize that they were a perfect fit for one another and as soon as the decision was made they jumped right in to building their lives together.  When it came time to plan the wedding itself, they looked no further than their own home.  The Grand Hall at Power and Light is just a short elevator ride from their front door.  It made sense to incorporate the space where their love had gotten it’s start.  From there the day centered around their favorite things, the locations that were special to their story, and the people who loved them both dearly.  Enjoy!

A huge thank you to Mike Tsai for second shooting with me.

Wedding Professionals that Eileen and Dave worked with:

Wedding Venue: The Grand Hall Kansas City

Wedding Planner: Megan Quant at Simple Elegance (From Eileen: we did final steps planning with them- strongly recommend it. If I could go back, I may consider having them involved before because we had already booked mostly everything before starting with them. I loved the finale outcome but I think I would have liked having someone help with the actual design of the day- which we did ourselves. Megan was extremely helpful at the end making sure things stayed organized. She’s amazing).
