You may have to give this post a minute to load. As hard as I tried I could not narrow down the photos to share. Emily and Peter’s Kansas City Wedding was brimming with heartfelt details, so much laughter, and an amazing group of people gathered to share in a very special day.
I honestly can’t tell you how Emily and Peter met. And I should be able to, but instead of taking notes as I normally do in a consultation, we were laughing. If there is one thing about these two together, its that they love to laugh. And we got so engrossed in talking about their wedding and laughing about how they got here to begin with (Peter is from England and Emily is from Kansas City), that I forgot to write to all it down.
Fast forward a few months and we are all right back to where we started (laughing) only today is Emily and Peter’s beautiful wedding day at the Hallbrook County Club in Leawood, KS. Hallbrook Country Club was such a perfect backdrop for Emily’s rustic details. She though of everything; from a s’mores bar out on the patio, to a latte bar inside, and even a specialty cake from England that everyone said tasted like candy bars. I was so touched by the thoughtful handkerchiefs she had embroidered with a special message for both her mother and her mother-in-law. Peter’s gift to Emily was inspired. Little did Emily know, but Peter had been keeping a diary of their whole 954 days together and he included another book with space for 1825 more. And with these two I think Peter may need to buy stock in diaries and they will assuredly have many many more days than that together.
Emily and Peter it was such a joy to be a part of your wedding day and to get to laugh with you. Enjoy!
