This stunning Kansas City wedding day at the Kemper Museum of Art can all be blamed on a chance meeting and a pair of shows. Paul and Emily met one fated weekend at a lake house. Emily’s sister went to school with Paul and had invited Emily to tag along for the weekend. They hit it right off and things progressed for the two of them. Emily and Paul love to run together so when it was for Paul to pop the question he decided to do it with a new pair of running shoes for Emily. Only she got so excited about the shoes she didn’t spot the ring. Paul had to take it back and get down on one knee for the moment to truly hit home.
Their wedding day at the Kemper Museum of Art was absolutely gorgeous and Emily’s simple details highlighted the beauty of the architecture and the art that surrounded them. Enjoy!
From our Bride and Groom:
Favorite Moment of the Day:
Hers- the first time we were announced as husband and wife and the applause that followed
His- the first look and driving around in the van taking pictures
Inspiration for the wedding: modern and classy
Advice to brides planning in the future: Everyone always says this but just try and enjoy the moment! Don’t get caught up in the little things and realize the wedding is just one day.
Thanks to Noelle Bielak for second shooting this stunning day with me.
