You may recognize Jenn and Andrew from their engagement session a couple of months ago. As delightful as it was to explore the city with this wonderful couple, then I can’t wait to bring you more of the true Kansas City for their beautiful wedding day. After a hot and sticky summer, we were so relieved for a beautiful day with the perfect temperature and not a cloud in the sky. Thanks to some recent rain, Loose Park was greener than ever and we had more than enough beautiful roses for a garden ceremony. Jenn started her day at the downtown Skyline Salon with her lovely bridesmaids for hair, make-up, and a light lunch. From there we snuck little Flora (the custest flower dog ever) into the President Hotel downtown so Jenn and the girls could get dressed. Meanwhile, Andrew and the boys got to hang out at their loft and watch football with my awesome second photographer, Kyle Lackey of Focus Photography.
It wasn’t long after that Andrew and Jenn sealed the deal with a Loose Park Rose Garden wedding ceremony surrounded by their closest family, friends, and pets. I love Kansas City weddings for the opportunities we have to shoot a variety of pictures without having to travel too far. After a visit to the most amazing tree in Kansas City, we jumped on a historic trolley and hit the Historic Plaza Fountain and some of the amazing bridges and graffiti of River Market. Andrew and Jenn finished the perfect afternoon at River Market Event Place with amazing food by delish! catering and events, a pie cutting with plenty to share, dancing, laughing, and enjoying the people they love. As always, the pictures tell it better and more eloquently than I ever could, so stop reading and enjoy!
