I am a firm believer that a wedding day should be a reflection of the bride and grooms personality. Choices should be made based on what feels right to the couple instead of what is trendy. Jessica and Justin’s day was the perfect reflection of that. They both knew from the very beginning of the planning that they did not want a extravagant event with loads of stress and obligation. They wanted to share the day with their closest family and friends and eat really really good food.
They instantly fell in love with the quaint charm of Cafe Des Amis. This perfect little French Restaurant is tucked in the corner of downtown Parkville, Missouri; a quaint little location on the edge of the Missouri River surrounded by forests. Jessica and Justin worked closely with Guillaume, the owner, to create their incredible seven course menu.
It was incredible to be a part of this intimate wedding day and we tried to capture the whole story of the day from the quiet moments, to the silly ones, to the behind the scenes work that produced such delicious results. Enjoy!
