Mary & Jonas {Intimate Backyard Wedding Photography in Kansas City}
From the moment I first met Mary and Jonas via Skype, I knew they were a couple like none other. Mary was living in Texas at the time and due to a technical error I couldn’t actually see her during our call. Her sweet disposition and excitement to marry Jonas had no problem translating through the phone call. Jonas was halfway around the world living in Germany and despite the long distance between these two, their connection was strong and their love easy to read.
Their Kansas City wedding was the estate of a family friend. This stunning historic home in the Valentine district had also hosted the wedding of Mary’s parents. The day was stunning and bright and these two filled the fall afternoon with laughter and love. Enjoy!
From our bride, Mary:
Favorite Moment of the Day: From Jonas: I don’t think picking a “favorite” is possible. It wouldn’t do all the “second-favorite” moments justice. From Mary: Uh! The whole thing!
Inspiration for the wedding: Extraordinary help and input from Cindy Stokes
Advice to brides planning in the future: Delegate tasks and involve other people in the process.
Special thanks to my second photographer, Tammy Pence.
