Shelby and Zach both grew up in the same hometown of Carollton, Missouri but never ran into each other. Shelby moved to Dallas, Texas and came home for a small visit which is when she finally met Zach. Even after returning to Texas she couldn’t get his sweet personality and tall, dark, and handsome looks out of her mind. They dated for two year long distance before giving in and moving closer to be with one another.
Their classic and elegant wedding day at The Elms Hotel and Spa in Excelsior Springs, Missouri could not have been more stunning. Shelby’s impeccable taste combined with the serious talents of her mom and mom’s best friend set the perfect stage for their gorgeous day. Enjoy!
From my bride, Shelby:
Favorite Moment of the Day:
My favorite moment of the day was seeing Zach’s face for the first time as I was walking down the aisle, because we didn’t do a first look so it truly was a special moment for us.
I think our favorite moment together was walking into the Ballroom as a new married couple and seeing all of our family and friends that we love so much in one room!
Inspiration for the wedding:
Two things that I wanted for my wedding was for it to be #1 Classy and #2 Elegant. The Elm’s has an Old Hollywood feel with nostalgic featuring and the moment I walked on the grounds I knew it would be the perfect fit for my vision of classy and elegant.
