Virginia and Imran met through mutual friends while they were both students at Truman State. While they live in Arizona currently they knew that they wanted to come back to Kansas City for their wedding. The Grace and Holy Trinity Cathedral in downtown Kansas City is Virginia’s home church. She grew up attending church there and her sister is even a clergy member there now. It was the perfect setting for their gorgeous and intimate Kansas City wedding. Enjoy!
Favorite Moment of the Day: Imran and I agree that our favorite moment was when we were walking down the aisle right after we were married. We were finally Mr. and Mrs. Mohammed!
Inspiration for the wedding: We wanted a traditional and small ceremony that had a relaxed mood.
Advice to brides planning in the future: Don’t get caught up with details. I picked everything out in one day (decorations, cake, food, flowers, etc.) and it was so much easier. Also, ask for help! Your bridesmaids, mom, sisters, and a million other people can make the process so much more fun and you make great memories putting things together!
