What happens when you take a historic building in downtown Kansas City and not only update it to its original glory but also add a bit of a modern twist? You get the Brass on Baltimore. I have always loved the classic architecture of this historic building but the addition of the modern rooftop bar is the perfect cherry on top. The clean white lines and beautiful natural lighting made it the perfect backdrop for Whitney and Shane’s spring Kansas City wedding day. An abundance of pink and white flowers mixed with the perfect touch of sparkle (and a tiny hint of baseball) set the stage for a romantic grand lobby ceremony filled with so much love, laughter, and a few tears of joy. The celebration continued on the rooftop and the gorgeous Kansas City evening was spent dancing and soaking it all in. Enjoy!
From our bride, Whitney:
Favorite Moment of the Day: Walking down the aisle and seeing Shane for the first time.
Inspiration for the wedding: Pretty with some sparkle here and there.
Advice to brides planning in the future: Definitely get a wedding coordinator because it helps with the stress so much…and preferably Nellie Sparkman because she is awesome. Enjoy each and every moment, because it truly flies by.
A huge thank you to Meghan Spencer for being my amazing second photographer for the day!
